Student Spot Light: Quincy Snelling
Quincy was a student in my Painting II class last year and is now compiling her portfolio for college. Check out her disassembly and reassembly of text books. I was really excited by the way she invented something new and thoughtful out of something old and stress inducing. Quincy has helped demonstrate that there potential for art in everything.

Student Spot Light: Eli Mattingly
Every once in a while I want to highlight the work of a particular student. This week I have chosen Eli Mattingly's folded drawing. He stayed after school until 5:30 in the evening to finish it. I was very impressed with his dedication. The drawing has very spooky yet playful imagery just in time for Halloween. Nice work Eli!
